"Iṉiya puttāṇṭu nalvāḻttukaḷ!"

Today is Tamil New Year, the first day of the year on the Tamil calendar. “Iṉiya puttāṇṭu nalvāḻttukaḷ!” to all who celebrate! I can’t pronounce this!! 🙂 But someone can help me!! But it is a genuine wish non the less on this auspicious occasion.
Thank you so much for so many reads on my Rāma Navami article and LOVED the few personal queries I received! As many might know that Lord राम, Rāma is the Vishnu incarnation or (Avatar, avatāra) of the Sun. MARCH/APRIL is all about SUN, new beginnings, Spring/Summer, and SUNSHINE in one or the other form everywhere.
Today is the celebration of the Sun transiting into Aries or Meṣa (मेष) according to Sidereal Zodiac or ज्योतिष, jyotiṣa .A very powerful and ancient system forthe Study of Time and its qualities.
All these celebrations have their roots in how the concept of time is calculated and perceived. The only difference is how and what each culture uses as a reference to calculate their Calendars. Usually, most if not all will refer to this date or start of the Calander year as CHAITRA or CHITTIRAI or in a similar fashion. The nakshatra that is exactly opposite the start of the sign Aries or Meṣa!
This day also holds great significance in other regions like Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Tripura, Bihar, Odisha, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana as in Nepal and Bangladesh. Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Tamils in Sri Lanka.

EVERY END IS A NEW BEGINNING.
The start of something new brings the hope of something great, anything is possible.
